Spiritual Development
The foundation of Dala Development's work is the teachings and life example of Jesus Christ. We believe that meaningful change comes through living out Christ-like values in interactions with family, at the workplace, and in leadership roles. The primary mission of the spiritual development program is to create opportunities that foster growth and maturity in one’s faith. We also seek to build unity among all Christians regardless of denomination, and reach out to non-Christians in and around the community.
The ultimate goal of Dala Development program is to glorify God through discipleship and evangelism, using the avenue of community development. Community Outreach and Discipleship The Spiritual Development sub-committee makes sure that discipleship and evangelism activities are integrated into all the other programs of Dala. Through small group Bible studies and mentoring programs, this program seeks to ensure that people's love for God and others is deepened, and that unity and peace is built in and around the community. Pastoral Development The second agenda is to develop the capacity of pastors and church leaders, regardless of their denomination, by making pastoral resources available and organizing opportunities for them to receive further training. Through Dala, theological books and resources are made accessible to them and their members, enabling them to better serve their community by Word and deeds, while promoting love and unity. | ProgramsEconomic DevelopmentEducationFood Security / AgriPreventative HealthSpiritual Development |
